Hi Bruins! We’re Charis and Makena, representing the Kappa Delta Recruitment Team, and we’re so excited to welcome you to campus! Whether you’re an incoming freshman, transfer student, or returning student, we’re thrilled you’re interested in Greek life and the amazing community it creates. We’ll be some of the familiar faces you see throughout recruitment, so we wanted to introduce ourselves! I’m Charis, the Chapter President! I joined KD during the fall of my freshman year and have since served as Vice President of Finance before stepping into my current role as President. Kappa Delta has given me lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, and opportunities to grow into a stronger leader. I’m Makena, the Vice President of Recruitment and Marketing! I joined KD during the fall of my sophomore year, and I’m so excited to welcome you into our home and meet you wherever you are in your journey. My favorite part of KD is how encouraged you are to be fully yourself while always feeling supported by the people around you. As a KD big/little duo, getting to experience recruitment together has been incredibly special to us. Kappa Delta has given us not only friendship, but a true sense of family and belonging, and we hope every person who walks through the doors of 800 Hilgard feels that same comfort, connection, and support throughout recruitment and beyond.
